In the morning we took a historical tour of the city of Salem! To be honest I didn't understand everything 😅But I believe many people died, falsely accused of witchcraft! In a cemetery, there was their last sentence, like "I'm not guilty" Then we ate and shopped! I preferred the afternoon with The House of the 7 Gables! The inside was so cute, it was like a maze with the secret passages! The guide was also great and spoke clearly! The house belonged to a rich merchant who kept enlarging it! Finally we had another shopping time, where I ate a pastry... a French pastry! It was delicious! I discovered the CVS which is a hardware shop . There the girls had fun opening the musical cards! Finally we are distributed to the school! In the evening, I attended Hannah's dance class: contemporary dance on Golden Hour! I had tears in my eyes, it was so beautiful!

It is the house of the seven gables because the house has seven gables! In French gable= pignon . This testifies to the wealth of the merchant families who lived in the house: The Turner and the Ingersoll. Despite of rhe magnificience of the strcuture and the wealth pf its owners, this house did not become famous until it was the subject and setting of american author novel Nathaniel Hawthorne depicted the house as the gloomy ancestral home of a cursed family.
