I only stayed two days in Atnbrua but it was quite an experience. It is rather isolated so to go there i had to took trains, then buss, then finish the trip by foot (about 2 and a alf hour).
The Dream Valley
That is the name given to the valley where the farm i want to was called. It is true that the landscape was astonishing! A valley surrounded by mountains and a powerfull river going trough.
The Work
The work was about cleaning an area of the forest for the horses so they could have more space to move and eat and so on.
Why only two days?
I had to pay the host for the food if i wanted to stay longer which i couldn't afford. Moreover i had an opporunity to join a friend in Bagn (near Fargenes) in another HelpX.
What did the farm do?
The farm was taking care of 8 horses in a german way of educating. It's a equal to equal relationship with the horses. So their is no order, more a discussions between the human and the horse. It is not a famous way to raise horses.
