We went to the far point of the Marlborough Sounds by water taxi, at Resolution Bay where captain James Cook anchored in 1770. Starting from this historical place where contact was made between Maoris and Europeans, we walked back all along the 70kms of this outstanding trail.
We had a swim on the way and a delicious honey made from the native bush of the Sounds!
We finished the day watching the stars and the glowworms that start shining on the campsite.
