Hello everyone ! (and sorry for not writing before, we've been pretty busy these past few months...).
Indeed, spring-time, with the sun coming back, is a busy time !
Hello, Canadian friends !
We hope you had a great spring time in Canada or elsewhere (Fred and Tom have been travelling and we hope they're having a good time around the world!)
For us, it was really busy !
Manon came home in March and didn't find another internship. But it didn't matter, because she had no intention to get bored;
That is why she decided with her boyfriend... to buy a van to transform it into a camping-car !!!
Of course, it was second-hand, completely empty... but as a couple that love to do DIY things, they decided to transform it into a rolling-home !
THey started with insulation, then electricity, then cladding the walls, while doing some bodywork and video making...

Thibault and Manon are now building the furnitures (they are currently doing the bed); They hope they can try it at the end of the month, as they're planning do go on holidays in the Drôme region, and in August in Brittany...
Marine is very busy with her graduation internship during weeks, but she likes it a lot. She is studying broilers nutrition and health in a farm where breeders are really nice ! The firm where she works is not too big and everyone knows each other very well. Several times a week, she runs with her colleagues during lunch time, that's really pleasant ! They even made a team race in Rennes one night, it was so much fun !
Marine's internship ends mid-August, she will then have 2 weeks of vacation. They are going to Italy with Florent during 1 week !! :D They will go to Rome and probably Florence and would like to discover smaller cities. Then she starts her first job in September :) Yes! She is hired with a permanent contract right next to Rennes to become a technical and economic adviser in goat farming !! It will begin with 1 month and a half / 2 months of training and then the new experience begins! Florent is looking for a job in Rennes so that they can settle together in this city they love !
During week ends, she always had lot of things planned with her friends or family: she went to Lyon with her bestfriends to discover the city, to La Rochelle to see her big sister, niece and nephew, to the Mont Saint-Michel with some friends and to Binic (a small town in Brittany) for the "cod festival". One day they made sand yachting with Florent, they loved it :)
Manon and Thibault are also doing dome hiking and biking in the surroundings, when there are sunny days and when they are tired to work on the van project; The opportunity to take nice pictures and breath the fresh air of the mountains !
Marine organized a meal with the new "french guys", Elise and Nathan, who are joining you in september, so that they can ask all their questions and to show them some pictures of their trip with Manon :) They are really nice and are looking forward to meet you :) Lucie was there as well, unfortunately Benoît and Manon were not able to come this day.
This week end a big event was organized at the school of Manon and Marine: the mechoui !! It was the opportunity for Marine to see all of her friends who are in internship throughout France. It's also a great day to see the alumni of the school :)
