The final exams are done and validated for both Manon and Marine ! Now it's time to enjoy their holidays :D
The first week end, Marine went to the "Prix de Diane", a horse race in the town of Chantilly (where her big brother live). It was the opportunity to see her family and to spend time with her lovely niece Ambre and nephew Maxence ?
But holidays are also the time to enjoy visiting and spend time outside. Marine went with two friends to the famous "Opéra Garnier" in Paris. It was a dream of Marine ! She found the visit really nice thanks to the guide, who told secrets and stories about the Opéra. Here are some pictures ?
Because Marine works the two months of holidays (July and August), with her boyfriend they decided to have small holidays of 4 days in the region of Normandy before Marine starts. The first stop was to do paragliding !! It was the first time for both of them and they really enjoyed the view and the sensations of flight !
The second one was to see the friends of Marine she met during her internship in Normandy last year ?(She went to the farm of Stéphanie, where she took care of the "prés-salés sheeps" which are raised in salt marsh meadows). For the perfect reunion they went to the prés-salés to have lunch and to enjoy the amazing sunset !!
Manon first weeks of holidays were dedicated to helping Alps shepherds watching their sheeps (especially at night time). There is currently a lot of wolf kills on the herds living in the mountains, so any help is welcomed. Manon really enjoyed helping them and discovering their way of life. It was also the perfect time to discover Drôme landscapes, enjoying Summer heat (while bathing in the rivers), learning how to milk a goat, hiking on the mountains, strolling local markets...
The 14th and the 15th of July were amazing in France: it was the national day with the military parade in the Champs-Elysées in Paris and fireworks and then France became the winner of the football world cup ! ??
